One Show, Two Great Discussions
(1) On this broadcast, August 20, 2018, “The Senior Zone” went international in its attempt to learn the conditions, challenges and how other seniors around the world age. Today we started in the African country of Sierra Leone. Our guest was Precious Amabel Lebby; a broadcast journalist who uses her young voice to bring power to the voiceless.
(2) Afterwards, if you are 55 & over, currently unemployed but seeking employment then today’s broadcast was designed specifically for you. Our discussion centered around the only federal program targeted to help older workers; Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). Today’s guest was from the state of Maryland; specifically the Prince George’s County Dept. of Family Services.
